Getting the right people and people skills is essential to COWI and our Talent Acquisition team is a key player in succeeding. We are therefore strengthening our Talent Acquisition team in Norway getting a strong and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the team and to develop, implement and execute our talent acquisition strategies.

The Global Talent Acquisition Team is a part of COWI People and Communication, where we are more than 130 skilled HR and communication specialists across the globe. 

Our Global Talent Acquisition Team consists of more than 40 dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialists sitting in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom, North America, Lithuania and India. From here we support the business managers recruiting the best talents for COWI.

In this new role, you will lead the Talent Acquisition team in Norway comprising of Talent Acquisition Partners & Talent Acquisition Specialists – representing all our Business Lines and serve as a subject matter expert within talent acquisition and talent sourcing. 
You will be a part of developing an in-house search function and drive local implementation in Norway. Additionally, you will work on Talent Acquisition initiatives like internal mobility and HR analytics trying to identify future business needs and define the talent attraction strategy in order to execute the workforce planning.

You will be a key player in our recruitment function advising and coaching your local colleagues, Line Managers and HR Business Partners in the sourcing strategies. You will partner with many stakeholders across the business to ensure we attract and hire world class talent.
You will report to the Head of Global Talent Acquisition & Onboarding and the job will be based out of our Norway office in Oslo, where you also will be a part of a local HR team and will collaborate closely with the local HR Director.

On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead, prioritize and coordinate all the Talent Acquisition processes & initiatives in Norway
  • Drive the recruitment processes A-Z for senior leadership positions and other prioritized and business critical positions
  • Advise the team on sourcing strategies, recruitment methods and channels in order to take our recruitment process in Norway to the next level
  • Increase collaboration with colleagues across boarders in Group Talent Acquisition function
  • Work closely with our colleagues in Communication to drive recruitment branding initiatives in Norway

You have a degree in Human Resources/related disciplines and 8 years or more experience in Talent Acquisition with strong skills within search, talent acquisition and talent attraction, preferably from a large multi-national organization. 

Furthermore, you have the following skills and experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of Norwegian recruitment market
  • Strong business acumen and experience in translating business requirements into recruitment strategies
  • Leading, motivating and managing a team of recruitment specialists    
  • Extensive experience in full recruitment life cycle in an international environment
  • The ability to adjust to changing priorities, successfully navigate ambiguity and ability to work with a variety of personalities in different cultures
  • Strong communication skills, able to influence and develop strong relationships
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian both verbal and in writing
